Lazarus

Jesus Feeds the Hungry

The wedding feast is nearly ruined when they run out of wine, but Jesus miraculously changes water into wine. Superbook then takes the kids to witness Jesus feeding over five thousand people by multiplying a few fish and five loaves of bread into a feast.

Baptized

Chris and Joy were excited about their upcoming baptism, but heavy rains are ruining their plans. Superbook takes them back in time to learn what it means to become fishers of men. Superbook also snags Ellie and brings her on the journey with them. Chris and Joy see what it's like for Ellie to see Jesus for the first time and guide her to accept Him as her Savior. Back at home, the weather clears up and the baptism ceremony is back on - including Ellie!

The Last Supper

When Chris is invited to be in the World’s Best Band contest, he wants to be treated like a king—until he encounters a true King who is the servant of all. Superbook takes Chris, Joy and Gizmo to ancient Jerusalem. There, Jesus enters the city on a lowly donkey and clears the Temple of greedy people. Witness how He prepares for a final meal with His disciples. The children learn that true greatness comes from serving others!

Peter's Denial

Chris is desperately trying to impress some basketball players when Joy excitedly announces she is the new president of the chess club. Afraid of what the group may think, Chris pretends he doesn’t know her. Superbook takes Chris, Joy and Gizmo to meet Peter, who denies knowing Jesus three times. Witness how Jesus forgives Peter and their relationship is restored. The children learn how everyone can be forgiven when they repent.

Chris will get detention if he’s late for school again, yet a hall monitor quickly reports him for not being on time. The two boys could never be friends—or could they? They meet the Apostle Peter and Cornelius, a Roman army officer—two very different men with little in common until they both have amazing visions from the Lord. Peter’s Escape

Chris and Gizmo try to help Joy do a school geography project by sending her on a round-the-world Holo-9 virtual tour. As she sees scenes of deprivation and hardship, Joy is overwhelmed by the state of the human condition and wonders how she can make a difference. Philip

Chris is impressed by his father’s new invention. Chris covets the device and wants to use its power to impress his friends and earn lots of money. Superbook whisks the kids away to Samaria. There they watch Philip, Peter, and John teach a magician and his followers about the true power of the Holy Spirit. Later, they find Philip in the desert and witness the baptism of the Ethiopian Eunuch. Upon returning home, Chris is a changed person. He has been awed by the power of the Holy Spirit and begins his path towards baptism.

The Road to Damascus

When Chris, Joy and Gizmo walk in on a teenage burglar, they wonder—can he ever change? Superbook takes Chris, Joy and Gizmo to meet Saul on his way to persecute Christians in Damascus. Paul and Barnabas

Superbook whisks the kids away to journey with Paul and Barnabas on their mission to spread the message of Jesus. They witness Paul's miracle, blinding an evil sorcerer and converting the Roman Governor to a believer in Jesus. The job becomes too much for disciple John Mark, who abandons the work and returns to Jerusalem. Paul and Barnabas continue spreading the Gospel against all manner of adversity including Paul being stoned and Barnabas and Paul separating over a disagreement. Chris takes their example to heart and when Superbook returns him to school, he, Joy, and Gizmo stand up for the boy and his Bible study group. Chris takes a small, first step, on a journey towards pronouncing the Gospel as the power to Salvation.
